David R. Silva is a personal injury attorney dedicated to protecting the rights of injured persons throughout California.

Mr. Silva graduated from UCLA earning a B.A. degree in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations.  He studied law at Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California where he was awarded a Juris Doctor degree in 1988.  Mr. Silva has worked exclusively in personal injury law throughout his career.  In 1983, he started work as a law clerk at a highly successful personal injury law firm in Beverly Hills, California while still an undergraduate at UCLA.  Then, in 1991 he founded the Law Offices of David R. Silva with a mission in mind to provide high quality, personalized, aggressive legal representation to accident victims and their families.

When not engaged in the practice of law, Mr. Silva spends much of his time doing volunteer work and giving back to the community.  He is the former President of the Polly Klaas Foundation which is a national nonprofit that helps find missing children, prevents children from going missing, and promotes legislation such as Amber Alerts that relate to child safety issues.  The Polly Klaas Foundation has helped more that 6,900 families of missing children.  In addition, Mr. Silva continues to serve as a Board Director with other nonprofits including youth sports organizations and an educational foundation.  He has also coached youth baseball and fastpitch softball teams, including highly competitive tournament teams for 13 years, and has trained in martial arts for the past 9 years.
